DANCE 89.5 is Seattle’s non-profit, commercial-free dance music powerhouse- bringing nonstop beats, big community energy, and zero boring playlists.

Owned by Seattle Public School and powered by pros, students from Nathan Hale High School help run the station through the electronic media program. They get hands-on experience in production, programming, DJing, and music curation – basically, the coolest classroom ever. Alumni and community volunteers help keep the vibes going too.

Broadcasting across Puget Sound and streaming around the world, DANCE 89.5 is a legendary local station fueled by listener support, community love, and an obsession with keeping dance music loud, fresh, and unapologetically fun.
